3 STAR - REMOTE CONTROLLED AUTOMATIC DUAL CIRCUIT IMMOBILISER
The Mongoose MX40 MkII is Standards Certified to the AS-NZ
4601.ammendment 1 2003 Immobiliser Standard.
The automatic dual circuit engine immobiliser is designed to deter theft
by disabling the starting and running of your vehicle.
Being automatic, you are always assured your vehicle is protected even
if you forget to arm the security system with the supplied remote
controls. (2 supplied)
The MX40 MkII also allows for 'keyless' entry if your vehicle has
central locking (may require additional parts and cost depending on
vehicle type).
This system automatically immobilises itself 30 seconds after the
ignition has been turned off. To tell you what you are doing, the
vehicle's lights flash as confirmation.
Adding the optional siren provides for a basic alarm by detecting the
opening of the bonnet, boot and doors.
